About trip
We hunt both Fannin and Dall Sheep. You will notice a wide variety of color ranging from dark Stone to light Dall. Sheep hunting starts on August 1st and carries through until Mid September. However, it is not uncommon to harvest a sheep during a late fall Moose hunt as an extra animal. The weather at the beginning of August is typically warm but it starts to cool down by the end of the month.
