This year at Frederick and Mathews we have harvested 6 nice birds. In addition we also had two misses and one that was WIA and could not be found. The birds have ranged in age from 5-6 years old. At Frederick and Mathews Hunting Preserve we have over 20 acres of Chufa planted for next year. This year there were over 8 birds that were passed up by our clients due to size and shot limitation. The past two springs that we have been open we have totaled 11 birds.
