My brother Ed and I booked a Rut Moose hunt with the Udell's for 2021 and were both successful! We booked a couple years in advance and had high expectations as well as apprehension as we had been burned in the past by a different outfitter in Idaho on an elk hunt. I can't stress enough how important it is to do your homework and communicate with your outfitter, before and during your hunt. Kelly and his wife were sensitive to our bad experience and accommodated accordingly. Ed got his moose on the 4th day and I got my moose on the last day with 2 minutes of shooting hours left! Stick to it no matter the conditions. We plan to book with Udell's in the future. It's worth the drive all the way from Pennsylvania.
