Tucked between Alaska and Canada’s Northwest Territories, the Yukon is a world-class hunting destination for Moose, Dall Sheep, Grizzly Bear, Wolf, and Mountain Caribou. Spectacular mountain scenery, fish-filled rivers and lakes, wide, timbered valleys and incredible hunting makes this the perfect place for serious hunters seeking the adventure of a lifetime!

Mother Nature reigns supreme in this part of the world. You must be both prepared and determined to get the trophy of your life.

The westernmost and smallest of Canada's three federal territories, the Yukon is wild, mountainous, and sparsely populated. Whitehorse is the territorial capital and Yukon's only city. The Yukon is known for dog-sledding, hunting, canoe expeditions, hiking, salmon fishing, and other outdoor pursuits, as well as for the colourful northern lights sometimes seen in its nighttime sky. Kluane National Park and Reserve includes Mt. Logan, Canada’s highest peak, as well as glaciers, trails, and the Alsek River, renowned for rafting.

Yukon Moose are among the largest moose in the world and are abundant throughout the territory. These majestic animals often stand over 7 feet at the shoulder and weigh over 1800 pounds. It is not uncommon to see bulls with antler spreads over 65 inches.

The Yukon also has an excellent population of Mountain Caribou. When the rut is underway, herds numbering over 50 are common. Average trophy bull Mountain Caribou score between 375” to 390” Boone and Crockett, with many bulls scoring over 400 Boone and Crockett.

The Mountain Grizzly is found abundantly throughout the Yukon and is, beyond a doubt, the most unpredictable hunting venture that you will undertake. A nice, big, male Grizzly may very well end up being your hardest won trophy.
