We offer a variety of guided tours at a reasonable price. Brandon Hiatt, Owner Brandon was born and raised in Alliance, Nebraska where his love for the outdoors began. From the age of 2 he began deer hunting with his dad in the Sandhills and riding on his shoulders hunting grouse. It was this early exposure that the passion for the outdoors has grown. Before too long he was hunting waterfowl, pheasants, turkey's, deer, predators, and anything there was a season for. He was always reading hunting magazines and the cabela's catalog to see how he could improve on his skills. During college it wasn't uncommon to see him running into a mid morning class in full camo while his dog and decoys awaited him in the parking lot so they could get back to the river. It was during college that he began to realize that his drive to be outdoors was more than just a hobby, it was his passion. The more the passion grew the more he wanted to share the great outdoors with others. So after college he moved to Colorado and had worked for another outfitter for a short time and decided to start Shadow Mountain Outfitters in 2007. From the beginning he has put everything into his hunts to be sure that they are successful. He puts forth every effort to ensure that his clients leave as a friend with a smile on their face and a hunt that they will talk about for years! Lets not forget about his loving wife that has encouraged him to pursue his dream to operate a successful outfitting business. From the time they first met in college through now she has been by his side supporting him in every adventure he takes. Now they have a daughter that he is excited to introduce to the outdoors and all the joys that come with it.
