Following his Great Grandfather, Grandfather, and Father, he became a licensed captain through the United States Coast Guard. Specializing in wade fishing or drifting for Speckled Trout, Red Fish, and Flounder. Captain Hollis is a full time Matagorda Bay fishing guide and can teach you the techniques needed to catch these fish, and the art of wade fishing or drifting, which he firmly believes is the key to producing trophy fish or even numbers for the frying pan. He also specializes in water fowl hunting in the Matagorda Bay Complex, so not only can he take you hunting, but he can take you fishing the same day which makes for a memorable day to say the least.
